On Monday, After taking a short flight to the southern part of Japan, we took a ferry to Yakushima. It was of course warm which my friends and I were partially surprised at. 

The hotel we stayed at didn't have much around it to do. And it was smaller meaning there was one room for the boys and two rooms for the girls.

 However we were treated to a beautiful and extravagant dinner. Afterwards my friends and I went to the gift shop and the public bath. In my room we all went to sleep early sleeping on futons. No one wanted to sleep on the beds they had for us. We slept comfortably and woke up early for the following day.
